About La Posada de Guadalupe
Located in Carlsbad, La Posada de Guadalupe has been providing transitional housing to homeless men in North County since 1992. Rebuilt and expanded in 2013 (with major funding from the City of Carlsbad), La Posada now provides 100 beds on a year round basis, including a 50 bed dorm for farm workers. In addition to providing housing and meals, La Posada helps homeless men achieve independence by providing help with medical screening, drug and alcohol counseling, money management skills and assistance in finding jobs and permanent housing. It has been the only year-round program of its kind in all of North County.
